Mr. Mozafar Hamid brings over 35 years of experience in structural analysis, design, detailing, and engineering management. His expertise spans structural steel, pre-engineered buildings, reinforced concrete structures, industrial facilities, and commercial developments.
As Technical Director at SAM Consulting Engineers, he provides technical leadership across structural engineering assignments, overseeing design reviews, quality assurance, engineering coordination, and team development. His approach combines technical rigour with practical, economical, and constructible engineering solutions.
Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership positions with BlueScope Steel India, Dodsal Engineering and Construction, Phenix Construction Solutions, and William Hare India. His project experience includes power and petrochemical facilities, boiler support structures, equipment supports, steel connections, tanks, and foundations.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from REC Tiruchirappalli, a master’s degree in Structural Engineering from Sathyabama University, and an MBA from MAHE. He has also undertaken specialist engineering training in the United States and Germany.
